The virtue of hope

Now is the time to walk with God in the Spirit, meditating day and night on His Ways;
it is not the time to walk in the flesh agonizing and worrying about your own ways and difficulties.

Brethren, when you think on the things of God, peace, real peace will enter into your heart;
but when you think on your own things your heart will be filled with anxiety and stress;
therefore, begin each day anew, dying to yourself, forgetting yesterday's problems and and forgiving yesterday's offences.

Keep on the sunny side of the street and keep looking at the world through the rose colored glasses of optimism;
remember always that all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose.

Without the virtue of hope you wouldn't even try.
Hope then is the seed that brings victory.
