Gather together all ye people of the Lord and prepare yourselves for the journey to the promised land.

Brethren, we are all on a journey that leads to the Promised Land and the more earthly baggage we carry the more difficult the journey becomes.

As Moses gathered the people for the long and difficult journey to the promised land, many Egyptians threw gold and valuables before their feet.

Not only did the gifts of the world slow their progress but later the gold was used to make an idol.

Set your affections on the things that are above where Christ is seated on the Right Hand of God.

Mind the things that are above and not the things that are on earth.

The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

Prepare ye! Prepare ye for the way of the Lord.

Remember brethren, many are called but few are chosen.

Journey with God.
