Seek to live a holy and righteous lifeBeing surrounded by evil doers and a world filled with corruption, let us then all the more seek to live a holy and righteous life. Do not return evil for evil for then we would be only adding fuel to the flames of destruction that is already consuming the whole earth. Let us then return good for evil, blessing for curse, love for hate and kindness for cruelty that we may be children of our Father in Heaven. By living a life filled with righteousness we may or may not change the lives of others, but we certainly will find peace with God and find rest and solace for our beleaguered souls. To have peace within our hearts and souls is worth more than all the treasures of the world without it. Jesus said, "what would it profit a man if he gain the whole world and lose his soul." |
