Everyday spent with God is a day worth living and everyday without God is a day where we will suffer loss.
What would it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul.

Brethren, let us not be deceived by the deceitfulness of riches which appear to give us the promise of inner peace and joy, if only we had a little more.

The perception that riches would bring into our life a state of happiness and bliss is only an illusion, a mirage in the desert.

A man who puts his trust in riches and does not walk with God is a spiritual pauper, desperately poor in spiritual virtue, lacking in anything truly worthwhile, is to be pitied and not admired.

Brethren, true riches are the riches of the soul and the spirit.
