A wise man walks in the light

A wise man walks in the light and never stumbles; a foolish man walks in darkness and stumbles, falling into every pit.

A wise man foresees the evil before it comes to pass and he askews it; a foolish man runs head on from disaster to disaster and his life becomes completely shipwrecked.

A foolish man charges into things where Angels fear to tred and he calls it faith; A wise man inquires of God before he precedes and does what God says to do because he trusts God's Wisdom and not his own.

A foolish man is brash and acts on impulse; a wise man is cautious and takes thought before he acts.

A foolish man is proud and boastful; a wise man is meek and lowly.
