Scriptural references for: Look forward to the coming of the LordVerbatim references: None Forget all that is past, and forgive others all offences
they have done to you and start each day afresh. Yesterday is gone forever and the future is always just
dawning. Hope is born of looking forward to the things yet to come,
not on reminiscing on things of the past. I have found that there is no better way to dash to
pieces hope and to destroy zeal then to mentally dwell on past failures and
defeats. I am convinced that the reason that little children abound
in hope and zeal is because they have no past to dwell on. Memories of our past should be used for the sake of wisdom
not to destroy the enthusiasm born of hope and zeal. Look forward to the coming of the Lord. |
